Día 4: Machu Picchu – Retorno a Cusco

Perolniyoc Trek a Machu Picchu

What is the weather like during the Perolniyoc Trek?

During the day, the weather is usually warm and pleasant for walking. However, in the evenings and during the two nights of camping, the temperature drops significantly in the Andes. Therefore, we recommend bringing thermal clothing and a warm jacket and ensuring you have a sleeping bag suitable for low temperatures.

Do I have to carry all my things during the hike?

No! With your comfort in mind, Trebol Peru Expeditions provides pack horses and muleteers to transport the camping equipment, food and a set weight of your personal belongings. You only need to carry a small, lightweight daypack containing your water, sunscreen, camera, snacks and a jacket.

Can the climb up Huayna Picchu be added to this tour?

Yes, it is possible. Climbing Huayna Picchu after the tour of the citadel is possible.
This option comes with an additional cost of $75. It is extremely important that you let us know when making your initial tour reservation, as tickets are limited and sell out months in advance.
