Designed by Trebol Peru Expeditions, this tour takes you to explore less visited archaeological sites, ancestral art and breathtaking landscapes.

Our journey begins from the little village of Socma, where we'll hike to the impressive Perolniyoc Waterfall.

Along the way, we will witness ancient rock paintings that tell the story of the region's earliest cultures. Is trekking experience necessary to do this route?

No prior high-altitude mountaineering experience is required. The route is rated as moderate. The first section leading to the waterfall is quite accessible, while the ascent to Racaypata demands a bit more physical effort. By moving at your own pace and with the guidance of our leader, you will be able to complete the hike without any issues.

Can the tour be done during the rainy season?

Yes, the tour runs year round. However, during the rainy season (December to March), the trails can be a bit slippery, and the Perolniyoc waterfall will have a much stronger, more impressive flow.
We just ask that you come prepared with a good waterproof poncho and footwear with excellent grip.
