The 5-day/4-night Ausangate Trek is one of Peru's most impressive and authentic hikes. This route circles the majestic, snow-capped Ausangate 6384 meters (21 000 feet), a mountain considered sacred since ancient times. Along the trek, you will traverse vividly colored lagoons, high mountain passes and remote Andean communities, passing through pristine landscapes where the traditional Andean way of life endures. It is a profound experience blending nature, culture and spirituality.
